Finish: Chelsea Co Brewery
A beautiful and unique linear course will take runners from Farm Point along River Road towards Wakefield for the first 2.7km where you will enter La Voie Verte Chelsea. This former railway line converted into a trail is perfect for a Half-Marathon. 18.5km of the 21.1km will be on the Greenway.

A PREVIEW OF THE COURSE
The Chelsea Community trail is just over 20km along the old railway corridor. It is perfect for running and cycling. In the winter, the municipality also grooms it for cross-country skiing. We will be adding more photos and videos in the coming months.

Bus transportation included for all participant to start line and spectators to the finish line

Bus will run from 6:35am to 7:30am, from the P6 parking lot at the Casino du Lac Lemay

We will provide transportation post race from the finish line back to P6.

No parking will be available at the start in Farm Point however there will be a drop off point if you choose not take the bus
GEAR CHECK AT START

To identify your bag, you will need to use the detachable part of your bib that you will attach using the T-wrap you will receive with your bib. Your bag will be available at the finish line after your event.

It is strongly recommended not to leave any valuables in the bag that you will leave at Gear Check. It is the sole responsibility of each runner to identify his / her bag correctly.

Parking

We encourage everyone to carpool as parking is limited in Chelsea and will come as a first come first serve. Use Ridesharing.com

We have a partnership with the Casino du Lac Lemay in 2026 and all participants and spectators in the half-marathon will have to park at P6.

We will insure transportation for participants to the start and spectators to the finish line.

After the event we will provide transportation to all back to P6.

For the 1km and 5km events, we will provide more parking info in the athlete guide around August 1st.
About the event
The demi-marathon de la voie verte will be part of the 150th anniversary of the Municipality of Chelsea. La Voie Verte de Chelsea is a beautiful trail and perfect for active living, running, cycling as well as cross-country skiing in the winter. Here are some of the reviews from 2025.

Mission & Goals: This will be a non-profit event, 100% of the proceeds will go to charities. We want to raise awareness and funds for the la Maison Libère-Elle and La Voie Verte de Chelsea.
